Grandmother Reduces Ellen To Tears With Her Witty One Liners

I’m not exactly sure how talkshows work but I can tell you that when they have a celebrity on board, they are likely getting compensated for their appearance. Yes, they may be there to promote some type of event or perhaps their new book or album but in the end, they are going to get paid for their efforts. At times, there may be an unexpected guest who is just there to entertain, and no money changes hands.

I have watched the Ellen show for quite some time, and I have always appreciated the way that she interacts with her guests. This particular guest, however, was someone who took me by surprise in a pleasant way. Her name is Gladys Hardy, and she is a grandmother who has quite a personality. Ellen decided to go out on a limb in place a call to Gladys, and it turned out so perfectly that I can’t stop laughing.

Ellen DeGeneres is well known for her talk show, and she does a wonderful job of keeping people informed and laughing. What many people don’t know, however, is that Ellen had quite a career before she entered the talk show scene. She was a stand-up comedian back in the 80s and even had an appearance on the Johnny Carson late night show. She was the first female comedian to have a discussion with Carson after her set. She then went on to star in a number of movies, including doing the voice of Dory on Finding Nemo. At one time, she even had her own TV show, but it was canceled over some controversy due to her lifestyle.

I’ve seen my fair share of funny things on television, but this is now at the top of the list. In fact, Ellen even agrees that she was quite humorous and she wants to give her a regular spot on the show. Watch the video and you will know why.
