Pregnant Woman Shows An Orangutan Her Belly, Orangutan Gets Emotional

We all recognize that humans were born with certain emotions and it seems as if we are able to display them from a very young age. There are many people, however, who have a problem believing that animals are able to display those emotions as well. They feel that what animals are doing is nothing more than a reflex but is that true across the board? Let’s take a look at what happened in this video.

During a visit to a local zoo, a pregnant mother and her husband had a wonderful experience. The mother was pregnant, and when she got close to the glass enclosure, the orangutan began showing some interest. She ended up showing the orangutan her belly and the orangutan tried to caress it and even give it a kiss.

It should not be a surprise that this orangutan is interested in a pregnant human mother. Although orangutans are typically solitary, they can also be social. In addition, orangutan mothers are very attached to their children when they are younger. A female orangutan will have her first offspring at about 15 years of age and the infants will continue to be in contact with her mother for a long time. In fact, during the first two years of an orangutan’s life, they remain completely dependent on the mother for both transportation and food. That is more than can be said for most human parents for sure. Perhaps this orangutan is wondering how the mother will care for her child or she may just be a little jealous.

When it comes to the strength of a mother’s love, there really is no comparison. This is not only true of humans, many animals are able to display the same love for their offspring as well. When you see this video, you will find that it touches you on a very deep level because it shows that animals have the ability to love, no questions asked.
